Tag'it is a quietly competitive group game that runs across days, not minutes. Whoever's it has to pass the tag before the round clock runs out — share a link, beat the clock, dodge if you can, and pray you're not holding it at zero.
No matchmaking. No lobbies. No "press start." You and your friends keep one tag moving until the clock runs out.
One friend opens the app, taps Start Tagging, and shares a link. Whoever opens it first becomes it — and the shared round clock starts ticking.
Pick someone already in the round to tag in-app, or share a link to pull a new friend in. Either way, you cash out and they're it next.
When the round clock hits zero, whoever's it takes the round penalty. The round ends, points settle to the weekly leaderboard, and someone starts the next one.
Earn them through daily play, the weekly milestone, or pick one up in the shop. Charges work the same either way.
Doubles the points on your next successful tag. Stack a chain, cash in big.
Bounces one incoming tag without burning points. Always wins against Lock.
Freezes one player for a short window — they can't pass while you scheme.
Targets one player. Next tag they catch can't be dodged. Cools down per target.
You see who's holding the tag, who passed it, and how your group's stacked up.
A friend is tagging you. Burn points, watch a quick ad, or take it on the chin.
Whoever was stuck takes the L. Points lock in. Someone starts the next round.
Recess tag, but the clock follows you home.
Low effort to play — a tap, a shared link, maybe a dodge — but it keeps everyone in your group slightly on edge for a day at a time. No grind. No streaks that punish a missed weekend. Just one round, then the next.
Built around the people you already text every day. Small enough to keep the pressure personal, big enough to make passing the tag a real puzzle.
No. Rounds run on a shared clock that spans days — you don't need to babysit the app. You'll get one push notification when you're tagged, and a short window to open the app and respond.
If you don't open the app in time, the tag auto-passes to a random group member and you take a points penalty. The next "it" can't be you again right away, so there's no spam-loop.
Never. Tag Points are earn-only. You can buy power-up charges (Boost, Shield, Freeze, Lock) but the points that drive your leaderboard rank cannot be purchased — full stop.
Three minimum, twenty maximum. We've tuned the loop around real friend groups, not servers full of strangers. Groups grow organically as the tag spreads through people you actually know.
Yes — 13+. We block under-13s at the age gate and run with both COPPA child-safety flags on every ad request. No personal data leaves the device beyond what the game needs to run.
